Ian Grice, the former chief executive of Alfred McAlpine, has joined Pims Group as Chairman, his first role since his departure following Carillion’s £560 million takeover in February.
Grice has a formidable reputation in the industry, having been central to McAlpine’s narrowing of focus to concentrate on support services and strategic acquisition, a move that ultimately led to the company’s acquisition by Carillion and personally netted him over £5million.
A tight fit
Charlie White, MD of Pims Group said, “We welcome Ian’s breadth of experience and knowledge in the support services sector which will complement the existing management team’s excellent skillset and work towards making Pims the leading wastewater support services business in the UK.”
Ian Grice, said of his appointment : “Pims have an excellent track record of growth in recent years and I am looking forward to working with the management team to assist in the future development of the business.”
